Corporate
Advisory Board
The
activities of the Corporate Venture Group (CVG) are coordinated
with the National Venture Capital Association and are subject
to the review of the NVCA Board of Directors. The CVG Advisory
Board proposes programs, events, research, tools, curriculum,
etc. and guides NVCA staff in the development of such programs.
Nominations
for future Advisory Board members will come from the existing
CVG Advisory Board members who will consider the following
factors:
- Tenure
of corporate venture capital investing (established unit
vs. newer)
- Geography
- Investment
Preference (Generalist, IT, Healthcare, Communications)
- Interest
of corporation in prior association activities
- Firms
which have not been previously represented on the Advisory
Board
- Fund
